Hereford couriers Christmas 10K - Tuesday 28 December 2021

The Hereford Couriers Christmas 10k started at Hereford Rugby Club and the first 2 miles of this undulating measured and licensed course was out and back on quiet country lanes with a loop around Breinton before heading back to the finish at the rugby club.

28th December…. and days of any Christmas excesses were brought to an end as six Buzzards gathered to participate in the Hereford Couriers Christmas 10k Road Race. All were enthused by a
dry day and their own plans for this final Club race of 2021.
Kate Dolphin, paced by Sim, achieved a PB - 49:15. Unplanned Sarah Cuddy and Jason Cox chatted round the course which had that great impact of the kilometres passing by unnoticed (ish) to give our Captain a well deserved PB too of 01:04:01.
Julie Slack was pleased with a 53:57 result as it was definitely an undulating course.
However this wasn’t good enough to match Julie Casely who cruised in at 52:38. In V60 Julie C took 1st place and Julie S 3rd. In true Buzzard style thanks go to Sim, 49:15, and Jason, 01:03:23, whose own successes came from helping others achieve.
