Run 4 Ukraine - Friday 11th March 2022
The club organised a 24 hour relay flying the Ukrainian Flag and collecting funds for the DEC
Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. We started on Friday at 18:00 and finished at 18:00 on Saturday, with 54 club members involved we are pleased to report that so far we have raised over
£7,000 for the appeal.
We ran a 6km route in Malvern starting in Great Malvern, through to Barnards Green onto Malvern Link and back to Abbey Road Coffee for some well earned refreshments.
A number of local business supported the event by having collection pots for cash donations, these included Abbey Road Coffee, The Water Cure, The Old Con Club and The Red Lion Cradley.
Printed Banners & Signs also very kindly manufactured and supplied the Ukrainian flag.
We had several virtual runners from around the world showing their Buzzard support for Ukraine,
these included 2 runners in Penrith, 1 in Scotland and 1 in Dubai. Our Just Giving link for any further donations is as below, they would be greatly received.
