Worcestershire county track and field championships - 31th July 2021
Five Buzzards formed Team MB on the Super Saturday (31 July 2021) at the champs in Stourport.
The rain held off and the team hauled 12 medals overall (nine Gold and three Silver).
We also had support from a number of other Buzzards who were there with family members (Stuart Day, Sam Burnage and Paul White).
All team members agreed it was great day and we should take the gazebo and flags next year. Full results will be loaded on Power of Ten for the athletes but the medals were as follows:
Alison Foster FV60 5000m Champion
Adam Wilson MV50 3000m Champion
Amanda Dawson FV50 200m Champion; FV100m Silver
Julie Caseley FV60 3000m and 1500m Champion
Sim Buzzard MV45 5000m, 1500m, 400m and Long
Jump Champion; MV45 3000m and Shot Putt Silver.
